Job Description:
Courses will be scheduled in person during the day and evening. Please include your availability for on-campus classes and a list of courses you are qualified to teach.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters in business, business management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing or business education

OR

Bachelors in any of the above

AND

Masters in economics, personnel management, public administration, or Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.)

OR

Bachelors in economics with a business emphasis

AND

Masters in personnel management, public administration, or Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.)

OR

Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.

OR

The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.

Desirable Qualifications:
Relevant work experience in business management.

Experience teaching business courses, primarily in the areas of Business Writing and/or Business Communication.

Experience teaching a wide variety of management courses.

Experience teaching in the California Community Colleges.

Experience using emerging technologies in classroom instruction.

Demonstrated ability to engage students in classroom instruction.

Experience with and commitment to working with culturally and ethnically diverse groups.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Experience teaching business courses with innovative teaching practices supporting success and retention of women, students of color and students with disabilities.

Working Conditions:

Salary Range: Salary Range: $1286.03 - $1411.29 per lecture unit rate, $1028.85 - $1128.97 per lab unit rate
